This document explains how CatEye Surveillance OÜ collects and processes personal data.

What data is collected
When you contact us by email or phone, we collect your name, contact details (email, phone) and the content of the conversation. When you visit the site, anonymous usage statistics are collected (see 'Web analytics' below).
Legal basis
Data is processed on two bases. (1) Pre-contractual steps and contract performance — GDPR Art 6(1)(b) — when you contact us regarding a quote or installation. (2) Legitimate interest — GDPR Art 6(1)(f) — customer service, responding to enquiries, and managing existing customer relationships.
Retention period
Enquiries and customer communication are retained for up to 24 months. Contractual and accounting records are kept for the period required by law (accounting records: 7 years).
Your rights
You have the right to access your data and receive a copy, correct inaccurate data, delete data (where legally permitted), restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest (GDPR Art 21), and receive data in a machine-readable format. To exercise these rights, email info@cateyesolutions.ee. No automated decision-making (including profiling) takes place. Complaints can be filed with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
Data sharing and sub-processors
Personal data is not shared with third parties except where required by law. For technical services we use the following sub-processor: Vercel Inc. (web hosting and anonymous analytics). Where data is processed outside the European Union, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) apply.
Web analytics
This site uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous visit statistics. The service does not use cookies or store personal identifiers; IP addresses are anonymised on arrival. The purpose of the statistics is to plan improvements to the site's content and performance.
